Hi gnol,
Just did a rough count--abt 150 protected by today's nets.
1st major crop for tree as it is only a few years old and grown from a stone. Some good size peaches on it.

That looks beautiful Bent. How do you irrigate such a large area?
Re: Showus ya Vegie garden
Primarily rainfall, if there are extended periods without, we do have a tap we can use. This is the 1st year with a garden at the new house so we will see...I am more concerned with what the Critters might do!

Man, I do not even want to think about that! But it may have to happen...My sisters garden, guess who had to do all the roto-tilling? With a small Troy Built because the rows had to be 3 feet, so could not use a cultivator on the LS tractor! yeah!

So how is your farm going lately Bentley?
Re: Showus ya Vegie garden
My sister has visions of a lot of canning and such...I could see it, but where are you gonna store it? Would need a 19th Century root cellar...Although, it could all be planted in sweet corn as far as I am concerned...given enough butter n salt, I could eat 10 ears for a dinner! Onions, that is another staple and some leeks...If I had several hogs, some tomato's and lettuce and we would be set!
