everything O have read about the Join a Jig is was negative but the Kreg ones (there is a range) always gets good reviews

Despite what I said they are a most useful tool but safety is paramount.
Print this out, memorise it, stick it on the wall above the saw and most of all, ADHERE to it

Yeh I agree with chrisg they are a brilliantly versatile tool in woodworking but never ever loose your concentration No1 priority is always where your hands are positioned, then your body, then your work piece and above all do not get distracted if so just turn it off but with lots of practice it is a great tool and if sharp perfect for cross cutting with exceptional finish that needs little help before finishing, whoo hoo...
