Tuning Plate for Hark Tri Fire.

Hi All,

After being asked if i could make some more of the tuning plate that i knocked up for own Tri Fire.

I have run the numbers and will be doing a run of plates like this in the next few weeks.

Plate is new 6mm Plate steel cut and driled and completely machined to the above photo.
cost will be $85 each plus frieght.

Lets know if your interested as i have 4 plates to do already and will do a complete run once the numbers are in.

Will be running the plates for the 7 that have been ordered starting the week of the 3rd of November.
Dispatch will be week after that,feel free to add to the list if you still feel you require or would like one.

Hi All,

Plates are progressing well will be back from the machine shop this week and all i need to do is package and send.
Has taken a few days longer due to me having to travel interstate this week for work.
So will advise once all packaged and ready to ship.
Have also added a couple of small angles to help reduce heat sliding past edge of the plate for each of you. THESE ARE AT NO CHARGE....i have done it on mine and it has made the plate even better than it was.
Im all about getting the best result for minimal effort in this type of pit so excuse my OCD as i want to produce a good product .

I am collecting the plates tomorrow and adding the angles to them over the weekend.
I am shipping them Monday.

hi andrew , well mine has arrived and looks great , just where does that little nut and bolt go , plus those 2 brackets , you will have to post some pics up

I got mine today as well.

It was great to meet another member with so much passion and knowledge for our favourite hobby.

The tuning plate looks absolutely awesome and should allow the offset to finally sing and dance without its arms tied behind its back. The finish and build quality puts the tri-fire to shame really

and I'm really looking forward to trying it in a week or two. I think a brisket is in order.

ok my hole doesnt line up with anything (for the bolt), ill have to drill one

Hi All,

Thanks for purchasing the plate,

yes sorry the one thing i did forget in my instructions is the fact the hole in the plate for the bolt will require you to drill one in the angle plate for the rotisserie to locate the plate on the bbq.
I found through trail and error that if you dont the palte will creep down the bracket as it heats up.
The angle brackets are best wrapped in foil to help fill the gap between the plate edges and the back and front edge of the cooking chamber. As the plate is strait and the front of the cooking chamber is round ....
