Not worth the paper you would print it on it's American measurements, which are considerably different to ours.
Yank Tablespoon 15mL Australian 20mL
Yank Cup 240mL Aus 250mL etc etc etc. Every measurement is wrong for us but thanks for trying.

Its a nice breakdown but dont forget Pommy measurements are different from the Yanks as well. If i remember rightly a pint of milk became a 600m carton back when we converted from glass to paper

It's only meant to convert US recipes......something that we all have to do a bit of!

Ah, my apologies Chris. Would have helped if you'd said so, as many blokes may not know there is a difference and may have taken it as an Imperial to Metric conversion.

I totally disagree with that statement.

Again, i totally disagree. They are giving usefull metric values compared to US. I follow so many recipes found on US sites so thanks Chris, this will be a great quick and easy solution for me  .

Whats a Qaurt in Mls again

Cool Bill,

We do need to remake one for English measurements.

Handy Conversion Chart

Post by PylesBBQ »

Can some one explain why your conversion is different? I was taught " a pint is a pound the world around."

Thanks
