Parts for uds?
Looking for pipe to do my inlet and outlet on my uds. Cant find any black pipe in my area,Gympie Qld. Or do people use galvanised? Not sure I like that idea. Also for mesh for a basket.

Re: Parts for uds?
Drum is built wondering do i need an ash catcher on chimney? I have a large fire hazzard running through yard. How many embers do these things spit out?
Re: Parts for uds?
Looking good!
Minimal to no sparks.
They would have to make it all the way up to the top of the barrel, find the bottom of the chimney and then up and out. Also they are not running grilling temps, just ticking over on low and slow.
Maybe a little hat would be sufficient?

Re: Parts for uds?
I ended up putting stainless mesh over chimney then a hat to stop rain..
I have used it fair bit and your right no sparks and very low heat I can hold end of chimney. Works awesome and cooks delicious food. I have been using heat beads brand lump charcoal. I dont use extra wood. I reakon it has enough flavour. Nice thin blue smoke
