Chuck Roast

Post by the dane »

7am
Chuck Roast in the Akorn. And potatoes on the Weber kettle. If all goes to plan 7 hours should be having pulled beef coleslaw jacket potatoes. I did 4 hours at 250F and now have foiled with beef stock in a foil pan.ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Nice is that one of the "older" akorns from Bunnings?
I dont remember seeing pot rivets on them (or did u modify it?)
Looks like a great cook!

Yay Tapatalk is awake. Pulled chuck was amazing, bit to big as in lots of left overs. Had 2 large stuffed jacket potatos, 6 tarco, and 6 tarco boats, and a bowl put in the freezer. Have to say it was fool proof. Found the recipe on you tube.ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Looks good. What did you do with all the juices?

Froze them till the top bit went hard, put the hard fat in the bin. Then added a little juice both nights to keep it moist. Then pourderd a little more on the remaining left over meat and froze it. Still had a fair bit of juice that got binned
