Cheap Foil Trays

Post by mymonaro »

Hello All,

I was in my local BCF store this afternoon and to my surprise I found by accident a generic brand of aluminum foil trays which are an identical size to the Weber Q brand. (I went into the store with the intention of buying the Weber product.)

I have found in the past the aftermarket trays have higher in size than the Weber trays.

A 10 pack of Weber trays were $13.99! http://www.bcf.com.au/Product/Weber-Dri ... all/230179

A 10 pack of aftermarket trays were $7.99! http://www.bcf.com.au/Product/BBQ-Large ... ack/521656

I forgot to mention, BCF put a $10 voucher on members' cards yesterday, to be spent within a few days. Therefore, the trays cost me zero dollars! Even better, you must agree.

I think I bought my replacement trays at IGA or Coles for just a few $$

Were they the same "low" height as the Weber trays?

there is 6 to a pack :D

They are 21.5 cm X 15.5 cm X 5.5 high

I'm sure this is taller than the original aluminium tray, but I think the width x length are the same, or very close, as I don't have any original trays left to compare with.

They do fit under the baby Q, so I spose they also fit all bbq's in the Q range
There is no brand showing on the trays, but would have been on the package, which I threw away
