I bought one from Chris (urbangriller) ages ago.
Don't know if he still stocks them, PM him.

Have you seen the weber gourmet system?

scroll down to the bottom of the page for the 'sear grate'

I got the WGS but found it to small,I got a big cast iron pan from BCF works better and cheaper than the weber version or just get a hot plate,I went for the pan for the obvious reason it's got a handle so when I'm done I just bring the whole thing inside sit it on the stove and serve up

In the mid 90's, there was a half moon cast iron hot plate that was made especially for the Weber kettle and I think weber had it as an accessory but it would've been made by a Fabricator probably somewhere close and handy to weber...not sure who made it but they are as solid as they come.
I still have mine (not getting rid of it...sorry) but on occasions, I see kettles being sold on ebay with one included....but they are not common.

Weber has the new Gormet grate system out with many inserts that go in the middle of the grill or perhaps just go and buy a cast iron hotplatefrom a BBQ shop...try and find one with curved one 1 side or even a round one might do the trick.

Actually a Hotplate that's available for the Weber Q3200 would fit the kettle rather well...just sit it ontop of the wire grate over where the fire is....I have one also and they are a very solid hotplate. They are about $69 is I remember correctly.

Cheers

Is it a CI flat plate or a CI grill your after?
If the latter, I'm pretty sure Bunnings sell a CI grill for their Kettle knock off.
