I grill 2
I have just received my i grill 2 but wanted 4 probes only got 2 in box, to buy 2 more and shipping $110 dollars LOL, any one now if there is an Australian distributor to avoid the ridiculous shipping charges Ozzi dollar being so low makes it tuff as well
Re: I grill 2
I had ro replace a probe on my DigiIQ and was quoted similar for freight, absolutely ridiculous.
Ended up contacting BBQGuru and explained that I only wanted a probe and he got the freight down to about $30, I got 2 meat and 2 pit probes for the same freight.
It pays to contact the suppliers because most orders are automated these days

Sorry, a probe is not a probe, they all work differently.steinyboys wrote:Thanks will try that, was hoping for an Australian stockist, was also wondering if a probe is a probe, what I mean by that will other manufactures probe work I suspect they might

Re: I grill 2
Only an igrill probe will work with an igrill, but you dont need an igrill ambient probe, the meat probes are the same. the only diffenrce is the ambient probe is shorter, angled and comes with a clip. you can buy the clips from any good bbqshop or just use a potato cut in half with the probe stuck through it.
The igrill mini probe DOES work with the igrill2 though according to idevices so your best bet is to find out who stocks the igrill mini in australia and see if they have spare probes.

The outside is only a shield, so yes, they can touch without hassles.
