I'm about to go and pick up my Dragon from BBQ Galore in Gepps Cross - very exciting!

I have stocked up with 40kg of Charcoal from here - http://www.gaganisbros.com.au/go/our-pr ... and-souvla. I live in the Barossa so thought I would get heaps while I had the chance. Just need to find a good source for some fruit/smoking wood.

Also picked up a Thermopen & a Looftlighter. Overall think I'm ready to go!

Looking forward to a bit or trial & error plus learning lots from the experience on this forum.

Welcome Maverick.

Grape cuttings are good smoking wood. You shouldn't have any problem getting them!

Cheers

So the tally is currently

Akorns 10
Dragons 13

23 in total so far. Catching up to the Royal kamado list we did a couple of years ago which I think was over 30.

Picked up a Dragon yesterday. Seems like a good chance to play with my first egg at that price.

:) My folks used to live in Angaston, ask around you will not find it a problem getting smoking wood, try getting some great wine from Rockfords and ask Rocky - he'll know :)

I though it was too short too, until I rotate the wheels ;-) just right

I thought mine was too long until the legs were tightened up. I'd be pretty shocked if the part was actually the wrong length, I'd assume I put it together wrong
