Gasket glue
Gasket glue
Hey guys, what glue should I use to reseal my gasket?? I have 205 degree silicone but I'm hesitant to use a silicon sealer with cooking.
Re: Gasket glue

Re: Gasket glue
I ordered some on line but it had gone off before getting here. The tube was like a rock.
Ended up using red high temp gasket silicone "for turbos and superchargers" from Supercheap Autos. Many high temp pizza's and high temp sears and it still has good grip.

Re: Gasket glue
Most fireplace joints will have high temp glue.
Re: Gasket glue
I used this on my komado and a kettle rotisserie, that was at least a year ago and it's still going strong
Picked it up at my local fireplace shop for under $10

I used Elmers white "school glue" from office works - cheap, non-toxic, works well (has lasted several years)
