Father's Day BBQ

Post by AzJohnnyC »

Cooked up some pork, ribs, and chicken with my youngest son on Sunday. My oldest is in Texas, in Army training. Missed him heaps!

Trying to see if I can fit in a trip to Arizona when I'm in Texas in August!!!

Looks mouthwateringly good!

If only I could get ribs that size here!

Hire a car and drive only 800 odd miles, it's an awesome country to do a roadtrip in :D

Then whilst in Arizona have a gander at the Grand Canyon, it's worth it 8)

Ken, too bad you can't get this way. One piece of advice...BE VERY CAREFUL IN MEXICO! Especially if you cross through El Paso or Laredo. There is a lot of violence there with the drug cartels.
Cheers!

Cheers Johnny, I'd love to mate. Haven't been to Arizona yet (have seen the D'Backs play a few times through :D ), so it may be on the cards at some point. Trying to convince myself to take a really early morning drive to Snow's when we are in Texas.

Yeah, very aware of the violence. Crazy stuff. We will be flying straight from Houston to Merida (in the Yucatan), so staying well clear of the northern part where most of the trouble seems to be.
