Hmm,

Yeah, I've never owned one, a friend spent some rather serious money on one and a week in dropped it - keeps the pieces in a container on his coffee table to remind him not to waste his money again :)

I bought a set for my kids. We threw them in the sink the first time we used them and broke the points off them. Didn't realize had to treat with kid gloves - they should come with a warning for idiots like me.

I put my Kiwi brand knive sin the dishwasher and hand wash my good knives but I would never "throw them in the sink", guess you won't now either :oops:
