Brined chicken roast?

Post by fishmilkshake »

So I was thinking of doing another brined chicken.
Brining it as usual - overnight.
Then started trawling through chicken posts.
Came across "Commander Codys Chicken Stock" post . . . . . . . mmmmm niiiiiice
Thanks CC 8)

So here is my version of his chicken roll

A brined chicken roast?

Enjoy.

Brined chicken roast?

Awesome FMS that looks great and would have been fun to make! Did you get a pick of it cut in half? How did the stuffing look? I think I'll give that a go no olives tho :)

Hey Snow
Pic of it cut in half?
You mean like this.

It turned out nice - but - I think I would change the stuffing as well.
The olives were a bit too much, a little bland as I did it.
Needed more herbs and seasoning in it.
It was a great start ... will give this a go again for sure.

Cooked up some Kipfler potatoes as well.

Had never deboned a chicken before.
Youtube can be a great resource if used properly :D

Looks fantastic, agree the YouTube is a great resource.
I partially debone all of my BBQ chickens for more even grilling and easier serving.
