Is it possible to freeze a brined chook , have them already brined ready to go ? . Has any one tried this before and if so how did it turn out?.

Thanks chrisurbangriller wrote:Freezing destroys the cellular structure as the moisture in the cells expands and corrupts the cell wall...that's why a defrosted chook leaves a big puddle.
Pumping the cells with moisture (which is what brining does) will exadurate the effect, but you might still be left with a moist bird?
.....Not sure, I only ever freeze Brisket.
