Hi Guys here is my "Mountain Micks sweet Chilli Sauces" very fruit flavored medium heat sweet chilli sauce .
1kg long hot red chillies
2lt apple juice (no added Sugar)
375ml Malt Vinegar
3 Granny Smith Apples cored then pureed with skins on
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
3 cups Raw Sugar
11/2 tablespoons salt

Puree chillies with all the seed, now add all the other ingredients into a large pot , bring to the boil now reduce heat to a simmer for 4 hours and stir occasionally, until reduced by half, now blitzed it with a stab blender to smooth out the chillies, let cool for 10 minutes, now bottle into sterilized bottles cap with lids label and date made.
Please enjoy try making a batch or 2 , MM :P :D

Photobucket have stopped allowing those links and that's why the logos appear above, making the original post almost worthless. Since a lot of people use that service, a big number of posts have been completely trashed by this action of Photobucket, which is a shame. All you see is that photobucket sign, no photos.

Hey Manfred,
While I agree it is a shame there are no pictures, it is Mick's recipe that shines through not the picture.
Make it, enjoy it and remember Mick for sharing the recipe.
Cheers. :)

I think you missed my point. (And sorry for the hijack and maybe this should be a separate topic). That recipe post still works Ok but the action by photobucket has trashed so many posts in here that they no longer make sense. So many in the old what did you cook posts are gone for example. This forum, like so many using old software platforms never had upload ability for pictures so it relied entirely on others like photobucket to host them. If you google it, or visit other forums as I do, it's a big topic everywhere and people are extremely unhappy about it. You can reinstate the links if you pay them $400 😡.

I searched for other Mountain Mick posts and all his pictures are gone, which is tragic since he is no longer with us. A lot of good work down the drain.
