Spice rack/storage/organiser?

Post by niko123456 »

Does anyone here have a convincing spice storage system? My cupboard is a mess and I need some ideas.

Choose a suitable container that you can recycle from a regular item that you purchase. For example jam jars. I use 670ml Passata jars for all my herbs, spices, rubs etc. as we go through a lot of them.

I just knocked up this one for the same reason. It holds 25 x 100g bottles and has given us back heaps of room in the pantry. I cant wait to fill it up but the clear poly coat is still smelly and I dont want to taint the spices.Looked around and couldn't find anything pre-made so I bought a $60 drop saw and a heap of 4x35mm tassie oak coverstrips, half a sheet of ply for the back and played in the garage for a few days.

My Father in law knocked this one up for us last week. Seems pretty simple, I couldn't do it though.
