Dear Forum Members,
It has been over a month since anyone has posted anything in the vegetable section.
You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
That is all.

Brussel Sprouts to you too
A guy walks into the doctor's office.
A banana stuck in one of his ears, a potato in the other ear, and a carrot stuck in one nostril.
The man says, "Doc, this is terrible. What's wrong with me?"
The doctor says, "Well, first of all, you need to eat more sensibly."

I thought I was doing really well with my vegetable consumption until I got told last week that chicken's not a vegetable.
I'll need to reassess my food pyramid, because 'apparently' beer's not a food group either.

Re: Over a month
Titch. I have the veggie grown areas all fenced of.
This was originally because of the dog and it works now for the chooks.
just have to be extra vigilant now that the sowing season is nearly upon us. Those chooks will try and eat anything. And yes they do a lot of damage.
Had stacks of snow peas this year. About 10kg worth possibly more with what is left on the plants.
Here's another one for Deano.

They look awesome. Can't get enough roasted beetroot when it's in season. I reckon it's one of those things that goes well with BBQ flavours. Snow peas look great too. My kids will walk around the house eating them raw like they're chips.
