hi all I have just joined you group here however I think I was with you a long time ago
anyway just want to say hi I am beginning to try my hand at smoking in an off set smoker
but have been using charcoal and beads for quiet a long time in webers

Welcome aboard Enchris.
I don't have an offset smoker, but there's heaps on here that do and they'll be able to give you some tips if you need them.

The old fellow next door has an offset that I have play with once or twice but I do most of my smoking or low n slow in a Pro Q but as Steve said plenty of members here use them plus tonnes of info on YouTube as well, welcome aboard.
