Cooking for a Crowd

Post by Jimmyspits »

Hi All,

First time posting but been looking for a while.

Just looking at idea of what people cook for a crowd on the weber kettle. Got about 13 adults coming over.

Was thinking of a pork shoulder and doing pulled prok burgers.

Just looking at ideas though.

Thanks in advance

G'day Jimmy and welcome.
Pulled pork burgers are a crowd pleaser, but you might need 2 shoulders for that amount of people, depending if they're big eaters of course.
My suggestion would be to cook the meat and shred it the day before your gathering and reheat it on the day. You'll have more time to spend with your mates, rather than tending to a bbq.
Another option is burgers or hotdogs on the Weber, using it like a grill. They won't take long to cook and it will give you more time with your mates.
All the best,
Steve
