I can dig what your sayin Buc,
I was going off how to keep a ham going in the fridge.
Says it right there on my ham bag.

Buc, did they mention in the research if the acid in the vinegar had any anti-bacterial properties with any nasties?

Vinegar is useful if used on a bench etcetera as it will kill bacteria, just useless on meat, Bent.
The critters have a defense system, a slime barrier that isn't present on a recently used cutting board or fridge door handle.
