Nooo, but it can drop it off at the launderette for her Chris :)

They are very cool but just how they share airspace is becoming a serious concern.

Year before last I was right seat on a check ride in the Rio jet and something like that was very close to us on short finals - the command pilot was not at all impressed although it would have been eaten alive anyway.

Between them and idiots with lasers being in the circuit is getting to be an increasingly uncomfortable place for pilots in general.

Should explain - I'm a one-time pretty high time pilot, don't fly anywhere near as much any more but I do sympathise with the stuff going on to add to the workload of those that do.

In general I'm not a fan of yet more legislation but drones do seem to need some.

Cheers

Love multicopters and planes.
Here are a few of mine

To add
There are already laws in place to prevent that Chris.

No fly within 4km of airport and a 400m (or foot) ceiling.
Line of sight flying only and use a spotter

If it hovers over the washing line, the downdraft will help dry the clothes, and keep birds away.
(For the record, I don't like them. One was hovering over my house. If the neighbor was hanging over the fence, I can hit him. But one of these can just stay out of reach recording)

:)

I know Beaver, not sure if they were in place when the incident occurred but active pilot mates of mine say they are not being very rigorously policed or observed, a constant grumble.

From what I hear Police and Emergency services have been evaluating them over here, with test flights from Jandacot airport :) Can't confirm that, used to have the airport just over my back fence but moved last year.

Very cool. Next Christmas wifey...

See they're filming the Sydney fireworks with drones tonight. Looking forward to that!

I have seen some footage before of fireworks filmed with drones, with the drones flying through the fireworks.
It's insanely awesome

I went onto Kickstarter to have a look and despite proudly resisting the Zano temptation I still ended up dropping $100. That site is to me what the Sirens were for Ulysses.
