Should this topic heading not be "WHAT DID YOU COOK - PART IV" (Roman numeral) to stay consistent with past WDYC topic heading ??

Re: WHAT DID YOU COOK - PART IV
Yes it should be, us old scorpios understand but we need to make allowances for Gen X and Gen Y. I am led to believe that they don't teach that anymore.Livewire wrote:Capitan oh CapitanCaptain Cook wrote:Part 3 is about to be locked

Re: WHAT DID YOU COOK - PART 4
a couple more from the last few weeks. i'm lovin the kamado. using it at least three times a week. With the looftlighter i'm able to get it going pretty quickly after work (have a two year old so can't eat at adult times). last night home at 5:15 and had two pizzas cooked by 6:15. my wife made the base in the breadmaker in the afternoon so just had to roll out it, start the bbq and chuck em in.
there's a South African lady at my office who does a lot of bbq so she gave me some spices that they use. anyone in brisbane there is a South African store in north lakes with heaps of different bbq rubs.

WHAT DID YOU COOK - PART 4
First low and slow cook. Leg of lamb.
Reached an internal temp of 70c after 7.5 hours. Going to rest for 1 hour. Do you guys think this was the right temp to take it off at?

My first crack at a boned leg of lamb, I made a macadamia stuffing for it. Wish me luck!

Don't argue with idiots.. They'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
