Coles Crackling ham is a special line they have which pops up every now and then on special occasions such as Christmas.
Before Christmas Coles was charging $20/kg.
After Christmas they were selling them for $9/kg.
Something different to try and cook.
The leg was about 5kg.
With a best before at the end of Feb there was plenty of time to cook it.
I prepped and left it overnight in the fridge.
I set-up the Weber Family Q and followed the instruction except put the ham on the trivet instead of putting it in a baking tray.
A few hours later the ham was cooked with crackling,
As expected the crackling was good and the ham tasty and delicious.
I think next time I will try cooking one in the Weber kettle.
