It’s been a while since I’ve had the time to do this. No jobs, left alone to tend to the lamb and enjoy a few beers
Now thats a relaxing weekend...
Lamb on the spit
Re: Lamb on the spit
I remember paying $6-7 a kg for whole lamb around 10 years ago.
It’s around the $14/kg mark now...
This makes me feel old!
Hopefully the farmers get some good rain and we can feel the benefits!

Re: Lamb on the spit
Looks great! How did it taste?
Why is all the foil around it (I don't have a big rotisserie)
Happy BBQ-ing, Paul

Re: Lamb on the spit
Makes cleaning up quick and easy and leaves the spit looking new. There can be a bit of oil/fat drip, splash when basting and cooking and generally just makes everything sticky so for the sake of $1 worth of foil and a few minutes, I cut the clean up time down dramatically. We all know the clean up is the worst part of the whole process!
