Hi Guys
I took these pictures back in April 2016 and i am just getting around to posting them now. The BBQ is a Jackeroo Grange that i got from Kmart back in 2002, I converted it to Natural Gas and it was the best thing i ever did. I started of with round pizza stones which kept breaking but i much prefer the rectangle ones as the edges of the pizzas don't get as burnt.
cooking - sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon, onion, cheese

Aldi pizza stone in my Jackeroo Grange
Re: Aldi pizza stone in my Jackeroo Grange
A mate of mine brought a new bbq so I scored another grill plate off of the bbq he was throwing out. I bought another pizza stone from Aldi and when I do pizzas I remove the hot plate and the flame tamer under the grill plate and put in the second grill plate. I place a stone on each plate and run all four burners on half. Once the pizza dough is rolled out I place it on baking paper and add the toppings. I put the pizza and the baking paper on the stone and after 5 minutes I slide the paper out. 5 minutes later the pizzas are done.
