Picked up a small pork loin, did some cheese filled potatoe bombs, carrots, pumkin etc. And cooked the Apricot pies. Also used the weber charcoal beads, not sure about them, rich smell on light up. But burn very hot

Re: Pork loin tasty
No smoke taste, but first 15 minutes the verandah was smelling of fumes. Lucky the wife was not home, will go back to regular heat beads, or maybe use a chimney down the back yard.

Re: Pork loin tasty
What colour bag did the beads come in....please don't say 'yellow' as they have a fuel coating on them for light up without pre lite cubes etc.....
If you got them from red/blue or green bags it's ok as they need a fuel source to lite em up.
All beads will at first begin with a black smoke until they ash up....so don't put any food on the grill till it finishes otherwise you might get a weird taste in you food.
