Chicken and Boerewors

Post by Powderdigit »

Cleaned the Kettle yesterday while waiting for some new BBQ kit to arrive - banged out some simple chicken and great tasting sausage.

Reasonably satisfying to sit and eat this fare over a beer.

End result - nothing special but reasonably tasty.

Yeah sometimes I just like a nice uncomplicated grill-up.....tried those boerewors type sausage some time ago and my wife complained that it was too salty, I'm not as sensitive to salty foods as she is but I did find they were a bit too salty as well.

But on saying that....we both are big fans of Chorizo sausage...which are salty but also just enough spice to make them tasty...we know all snags have to have salt in them but some more than others. It also differs alot with brands of the same type of sausage as well.

Oh and Chicken is to BBQ what bacon is to eggs...it just goes well mate!! :D

Cheers
