Skewered Saveloy Sausage

Mountain Mick would be proud.
Our Version of Home made Saveloy

Thanks mate, it worked a treat,

Used a Combination of our Saveloy and some New York Strip,(Porterhouse)

Used our Skewers to load some meats.

Cooked untill steak was Medium Rare

Plated with Roasted spuds and Coleslaw.
Was a very tasty meal

Is it a hot dog style finely minced pre-boiled sausage or just a normal sausage ?

Semi Poached,then smoked.
You can eat it once they are smoked then bought up tp temp.

Worth making,I have yet to come across someone that didnt like them

Titch could you use cure#1 instead of quick-cure in that recipe, is so how much would you recon?

Sure could, I would use a bit under twice as much, I always err on the side of less
No I is about 6.5
Quick Kure is about 10.5
