I made up some little chicken mince meat balls today.

Chicken mince, herbs & spices, breadcrumbs do they weren't super sticky. started on the hot plate in the weber family Q then onto the grill.

Cut up some tomatoes and cooked them in a pan on the stove with some diced garlic, onion, pasatta etc and left it to reduce a little.

served with some steamed veg, mashed potato and the tomato sauce stuff over the top.

A traditional meal here but with a recent twist.
I seasoned it using ingredients from the Middle East plus Greece, and southern European countries' flavours, hence the name Syrian Run. ;)
The ingredients included cumin, sumac, fresh garlic, lemon, anchovies, paprika, oregano, sea salt and fresh pepper.
Cooked at 375 then finished at 425.
Spuds, purple sweet potato (my favourite) and onions and the killer punch was the pan juice gravy!
