Slumming it - Quickie on the Baby Q - no time to fire up charcoal.

Pork chops & chilli pineapple on the Q. Stir fry on the side.

Apple sauce from home grown apples. Chilli home grown too.

Carne.
Fire in the bowl
Meat in the belly
is good for the soul
and better than the telly

Dinner tonight - Huxtaburger recipe, but with double meat, double cheese, double bacon. Served with duckfat roasted Kipfler potatoes with Rosemary and rock salt.

Nice whopper!


I've got Hestons 'Further Adventures In Search of Perfection' cook book that has that burger in it - but haven't tried it yet. I reckon it would take a whole day to cook it,.....

Wow! Somehow I thought the Easter comp was finishing on April 30.
