State of Origin dinner :P

This piece was on at 1:00am this morning, Kettle and Snake behaved itself and stayed at around 230F, and it was finished in 14hrs.

Smoked with a combination of Hickory chips and Pistachio shells

And there has been some recent discussion and claims about the whole net thing on the Pork, and how it pulls away the delicious Bark  ,,,, i beg to differ

That looks wicked shayne....the two times i have left the netting on it has stuck and pulled the bark and some of the pork off with it, not sure why as this clearly didnt happen with yours. also i remove the the skin so i can crackle it up as a snack while im waiting.

That has made me hungry while watching the mighty blues!!!!! :D

Hey Shayne, how was it? I'm sure it is just the pics but it looks a little dry?

Nice result to go with great food too!

Ken..... what pic are you refering to  . I just looked at the three pics again and cant see any that looks dry.

Lastnight when we ate it, there was not a single fibre that was dry. :P

It was the first time some of the guests had ever tried PP and they couldnt stop talking about it throughout the evening.

Of course, i was quick to mention that they too would be able to cook PP like this,,,,,,,,and thats buy a Weber Kettle and join the forum   a few gadjets as well along the way :P

Said thing is,, there was no leftovers for my Sanga's today.

Maybe it was looking at it on a mobile device, but the smoke ring ends looked like they were a bit dry/tuff.

Maybe it's my eyes!

Looking at it on my PC it looks much better, I can see the glistening now. :D
