Living with the sister in law, she would always complain a d then go microwave it! Don't even know why I bother to cook nice things for her.

tonight I made Rib Eye on the bone, too much corn, baked potatos and asparagus (that burnt and was crunchy) on the weber One Touch

Really simple,
2 pork tenderloin/fillets
150ml soy sauce
6 cloves garlic
2 tbl spoons brown sugar.

Mix soy, garlic and sugar in a bowl. Put pork in zip lock bag, tip in marinade, leave over night. Smoke in the kettle @ 150c for 45 mins or until at correct internal temp. Slice and serve.

I smoked mine with a mix of hickory and apple. More apple than hickory. Missus was very pleased with the results.

I refuse to ruin food.

However, after I serve it then I have no control and don't worry about things I have no control over.

I've found that eventually laziness and hunger overcomes any prejudices most people have. That and showing them that microwave is the best way to turn meat grey if that's what floats their boat.

Did the lamb ribs I mentioned in another post. 1.5hrs at 160C indirect w hickory smoke. Turned out much better than I thought. Lamb ribs are more tender than beef, but loose heck lots of fat while cooking.
