Yeah it's been a bit like that up here in Sydney and bracing for more La-Nina damp torment but I guess you just gotta get out there and grill when the sun does shine (sometimes)
Here's just a few cook ups I've done this year and maybe some from last year....
Chicken Drumsticks smoked with Cherry wood chunks
Closer look at Chicken plus Mr Yoshida BBQ Sauce
Satay Chicken Kebabs from Woolies
a bit of everything
More bits of everything
Burgers and veggies
So there's just a few things I've managed to muster up, not much I know but.....I just love getting out there with the Weber Kettle and cook up what I've got handy.
Hope you enjoy
Cheers
Davo

Good to see you're bbq'ing Davo.
Your smoking box looks familiar, I think I have one of those too.

Yeah it's a bit rusty, hadn't used it in yonks, like the half moon hotplate I also have from my first kettle back in the mid 90's.
It's only surface rust so i'll have to buy one of those brushes for the grinder or my power drill to rejuvenate it.
I'm also going to rejuvenate my 2007 Weber Performer grill with a new table, new wheels, maybe a wider lid holder. It's the model with the Gas starter, might get that going too although at $13 per butane cylinder, it's not a cheap start up option.
I do remember some members from years ago found a way to get it to work with an Aussie Gas fitting from Gasmate I think it was.
I love that Performer Grill, best BBQ money I ever spent. The frame is still in great condition, the bowl is a bit chipped but it's still got the black under the Sage Green enamel.
Guys from the Kettle club said that it probably chipped because of the heat constantly touching that side of the bowl, they maybe right about that because I've always made a 2 staged fire, coals up one end and the cool spot the other.
Hope there's a lot more BBQing to happen during 2023 now that it looks as though La-nina has pretty much vanished...we hope!!
All we need to happen now is that the meat prices drop like a rock

Merry Xmas too Titch and Vonnie (is this her name?) sorry if I got it wrong.
Hope you're cooking up a Storm.
No cooking for me atm as I just moved into my house last Monday here in Albury and the place still looks like there's been a typhoon hit the bloody place inside.
Cheers mate.
Lets hope we can get a few more participants next year. Half a dozen regulars to start would be nice.
I gotta get Paulr to piss off those stupid google adds from the middle of our posts.
cheers
