it's so tempting...
Pizza party, registered and am waiting for code if available.

Just wondering if the gas connections etc are certified to Australian Standards?

Looking at purchasing the Ardore Natural Gas version.
May I ask what the code is for? Is it to purchase the oven?
Deciding between the roccbox or Ardore.
Any feedback would be great.
Thanks team

well I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Natural Gas Ardore... with cover, peels, extra saputo floor..
Can't wait... I did enjoy cooking with the Unni but I think this is going to be great...
Keep them pizzas coming.

I have just received the ardore pizza oven...
First impressions... very well made!
I connected it to the natural gas line and found that there is a hissing sound only when on full....
Is this normal?
Has anyone encountered this?
I am using the regulator that came with the oven
It appears the sound is coming from near where you adjust the flame

Thanks

It is the Natural Gas regulator for Australia I assume.
Did a Gas fitter fit it off? or is it a plug in system

It is a plug in bayonet
I am using the regulator it came with
If I reduce the flow the whistling stops
I might try an Australian regulator

You may need a higher Volume flow one.
Like LPG home ovens use .

Looks like I need an Australian regulator
Australian ones are 0.75-1.5kpa... the one on the Adire is 3.5kpa... could this cause the whistling at high flow setting?

That sounds to me like you have a LPG regulator. Thats about the pressures they use.
Your now beyond my knowledge base to help .
But you will need to make sure that the jetting is up to Australian specs for Natural gas as well.
Good luck mate.
sorry I cant be of more help.
Maybe a local Oven repair can help.

Thanks for your help.
I’m hoping to hear from PizzaParty as I did order the Natural Gas version. I’m happy to change the regulator I just hope the jet/burner is for Natural Gas

Well...
If anyone has this problem I think I have fixed it...
I reduced the pressure within the regulator and the whistling stopped.
:)
I will get an Australian regulator tomorrow and see if it works. I will keep you all posted incase this happens to anyone else.

I made my first pizza tonight... WOW... so good. took less than 2 mins... I suspect it will be even quicker once I fix the gas flow
