tuscany garden oven
tuscany garden oven
Hi All has anybody used one of these? I am looking for a smaller steel pizza oven and these seem reasonable.
Re: tuscany garden oven
personally i would not consider that. i would think it would be not much (if any) improvement on your kitchen oven.
the secret to good pizza is the ability to reach very high temperatures.
if you haven't already done it, i suggest get a pizza stone. single best piece of equipment you can buy.
if money isn't an issue, i would recommend a maximus or pizza party portable woodfired oven. approx $1200-$1300.
good luck!

by the way, you can get a terrific pizza by using one of these electric pizza makers:
This is the one that i use myself
This is what i can achieve. Not bad for a little appliance huh?? to be fair, i did hit the top and sides with a butane torch for about 30 seconds to get that charred look.

That looks like a real one .
What temp do they hit ?
I imagine the small space would use less power than my electric oven

Re: tuscany garden oven
Thats 50 more than an electric oven or 20% hotter (if my maths is correct??)
How long to cook a pizza?
My last electric oven was 250c took 10 to 11 minutes after a 20 minute warm up
New oven says 250 but takes 13 to 14 minutes on 20 min warm up (Im assuming the new oven is a fair bit cooler I never physically checked the old one to compare)
2 pizzas on 2 stones at the same time
