My turn, boys! :P

It was my wife's birthday so I cooked her a present! :)

Picked up some Beef Ribs from Feast Fine Foods at Unley - thanks to Meatman's fine team!
Image

Made sure the Yoder YS640 was smokin' at 225F with some hickory pellets...
Image

Little bit of home-made Texas BBQ rub and on they go!
Image

5 hours later :D :D :D - they're done!
Image

Into foil, wrapped in tea towels, then into the Esky for another hour - then mop with a bit of Cherry Dr Pepper BBQ Sauce and carve!
Image

Excellent fall-off-the-bone goodness! Good smoke flavour balanced with the rub and sauce.

Happy wife - happy life! :P

Then just to finish off - a tray of raw almonds with a little oil, salt and pepper into the smoke for about an hour or so...
Image

They go VERY WELL with beer!! Cheers!

We have just airfreighted the first Yoder YS1320 Pellet Cooker into Australia from the US. I will be driving over to Melbourne in our Ute with this BBQ on the back...... it should turn some heads.

I noticed a virgin YS640 in the front window of Berties on the weekend. I wonder what Meatmother across the road think?

Correct Jesse, Bertie's Butcher in Richmond now have a YS640 & also have a YS1500 on order due soon. Berties will have their new YS640 out the front of their shop cooking 5 Saturdays in a row, starting this coming Saturday, so if anyone would like to taste food straight off a Pellet Cooker, here's your chance :D
