Hey Guys,
Looking for some advice down here in Victoria.
Been using Mallee root for my BBQ's, its awesome but also looking at using wood and burn it until it turns into some decent coals. Creates a good atmosphere and gives one time to have a few beers before the cooking starts.
I am looking at getting some old vineyard vines that has been removed, red eyed wattle wood or any other decent hard wood that would turn into some decent coals.
Any recommendations where I can find any of these wood types or any other suggestions for a good wood in Victoria area would be appreciated.
Heard there are some good wood in WA, but a bit far to collect...
Thank guys.

Re: Wood in Victoria
Victoria is a big place , give us a hint on where you are and someone may be able to help you out.
I buy a Tonne for 80 dollars from Neerim South, Messmate, burns fast and is a light smoke in small splits.
Works great in my offset.
