Outdoor Fire Suggestions
Hi All
I'm currently living in Canberra in a rental place and I'm looking at getting a timber burning fire pit or something similar.
Being a rental I need something that I can take when I leave and also won't do too much damage to the yard.
I'm after something that will allow me to cook with my camp oven but also throw off some heat to make the Canberra winter nights a bearable.
I've googled the Ozpig but I don't think I'll get enough heat to make it comfortable sitting around it.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

A mate in Adelaide is in the same situation, he has a fairly large open coal Cypriot style rotisserie that does some magical stuff with lamb is a great backyard fire without being a risk to the yard since it is up on legs and he has a sheet of steel he sticks on top of it with the roti removed so he has somewhere to put his hibachi and I think he now has a Go Anywhere.
Works a treat and as Chris just noted they have something pretty similar at Bunnies at the moment, more than a little tempting I must admit

Around here you try and get a stainless steel washing machine drum from the tip
chilling while grilling
Re: Outdoor Fire Suggestions
Check out this one I got from Bunning's last year.
It is high enough to not burn the ground directly underneath, portable, and has a grill!
The cover means it can turn into a table of sorts. The cover will put out the fire (not a raging one)

Not sure if still around
