A guide to smoking with native Australian hardwoods

Post by jaybeau »

A new editorial on using Australian Woods has just been posted up on the ABA website.

"From one of the most respected men in Aussie BBQ, Paul Reitmier from Silver Creek Smokers, comes this guide to understanding, choosing and using Aussie woods for your barbecue."

Different perspective cooking on an "offset" with native timber as the primary heat source. Most use a neutral BBQ flavor heat (gas, briquettes) and often seek something to add. Probably why a similar thread title has been popular. http://www.aussiebbq.info/forum/viewtop ... =39&t=7924.

Thank you Paul Reitmier!
