Quick cooks (weeknights) on an offset?

Anything Wood Fire related (including what woods to use) pellet grills and pellets.

You can use a off set as often as you like, mine takes no longer than the gasser really. 5 to 20 mins, I use lump charcoal mostly and get it started in a chimney. Getting it going well is the key, I just use my heatgun. Set it to 650 degrees hold it on the coals for 2-3 mins, then go get meats and bring them out etc. I'll have to Google what a Looflighter is as they sound very quick like my heatgun to get the party started.
