Buy a box of beer for the event and the box doesn't go to waste!

Re: Kettle Pellet BBQ
Interesting device.
Seeing it can plug into the power, it will still require Electrical & Safety Compliance as well as C-Tick to be imported into Australia legally.
Even if it was Battery powered, it would still require Safety Compliance.
If you can put your finger into a turning auger, then its not legal here & it wont pass here unless it has a cut off when you open the lid ( for example )
Cheers, Dave

The Yoder is now fully compliant & you cannot put your finger anywhere near the auger for the 3 models.food&fish wrote:Interesting does the traeger and the yoda stop when you open the lidDave wrote:Interesting device.

The GMG's comes standard with a safety guard inside the hopper, no matter what country you are in!

Is that the one I can lift out?
I have no problem with it and if the Aussie rules say the safety guard makes it compliant then the rules are as stupid as the people who make them.

Yep more rules, the dumbing down of society.

If you can lift it out or move it so that you can get your fingers anywhere near the auger, then it cannot be that piece.Gumb wrote:Is that the one I can lift out?

The "Safety Guard" that stops your fingers from touching the auger cannot be lifted out or moved out of the way. Without it, the appliance is definitely not compliant for Australian Safety Standards.
