Which BBQ/grill?

Post by Jtello87 »

Hi all,

Looking to buy a new BBQ/grill, 2-4 burner. Budget is $1200 and would like to stay away from Webers as I like to cook with the lid up... looked up the Matador Titan which has very high output in each burner (19 mj/hour) so would be great for searing, but never owned a matador and not sure about their warranties, etc...

Would appreciate recommendations.

Thanks!!

Is this from Bunnings?
read these reviews,
https://www.productreview.com.au/p/matador-titan-6.html
and if it is from Bunnings , ask yourself will they support you if you have a Problem?
Just my thought, Bunnings does not Continually support products I find
Cheers

Have a look at the Weber Genesis® II E310.

There's a lot more to cooking a decent BBQ on gas then BTU. eg ability for even heat.

The BBQ Galore Zieger and Brown triple burner is good to cook with lid up and down.

as for cooking with lid up/ down....you'll get used to it and will enjoy the difference.
i look at it this way....when you cook with lid up and you're waiting for the snags to brown on one side so you can roll em to the other side....guess where that awesome flavour goes....yep...up in the air making your neighbours either jealous or despising you coz they are vegans....make love not war brother....grill with lid down and all the flavour stays inside your grill.
you don't have to keep it closed....even if u open it once every minute to check, you'll still have the flavour stay put longer....snags grill faster and more even and you'll save on gas.
Other high heat grills won't grill in high heat with lid down....Webers are designed for it....due to the way they are ventilated. best warranty and service in the business too.

cheers
