Weber Q with its amazing grill marks

Post by the dane »

Cooked up a few rump steaks and sirloin steaks. The Weber Q still makes a steak look good. Sirloin rare/med rump welldoneImageImageImageImageImage

Steak on the Q is a great way to relax.

Sometimes you want to relish the taste of the meat without smoke.

The Weber Q does a great job when you want to do that.

At the moment I am still 50-50 whether a steak tastes better with grill marks or better on the cast iron plate. Good either way. As usual, another great cook from the Dane.

XXXX - how did you get a taste for that. You're a long way from Queensland?

Drink light at home and heavy at the pub. Ahh spend too much time at the pub. My wife has been going on at me about no more baby food (kamado low/slow) so last 2 weeks the weber Q and Performer have been getting a work at. Lamb legs and bbqs. I do like doing low/slow as its fun on my day off. 4am i normally youtube kamado joe find a good cook, 6:30am i buy what i need by 8am we are smoking. But the basic bbq on the weber Q is good. Even curry snagsImageImageImage

Snags are good. Cooked Chorizo, Italian and Mediterranean style snags on the Weber Q tonight.

Nothing fancy plating up etc. Just bread and tomato sauce.
