Hi guys,
I'm planning on buying a second hand Weber Genesis - anything to look out for in terms of wear and tear or common issues that come with age?
Buying a 2nd hand Weber Genesis - what to look for?

General condition is important, any rust, look how well they've kept it clean in general, take out the angled burner tube covers(flavour bars) and ask to see the BBQ lit up so you can see that the burners are burning neat and that the control knobs work well.
when you lift up the hood, just feel how solid it should be and if it feels loose or not. Check the side burner working.
If you buy it, once home, give the gas hose the leakage test with soapy water, if there are any bubbles bursting....buy new hose from Weber specialist dealer.
Oh...and check the rigidness or the whole cart and the condition of the wheels.
Can't really think of any more at this stage.
Cheers
