Modifying a GMG DB

Post by Hoffer »

Morning all

So In my attempts to have just one BBQ I am making some easy modifications to the Daniel Boone and wondered what if anything others had done.

So far i have done :

Don Godke Downdraft
A flexible light so i can see what I'm doing in the pit

Ive also ordered a front shelf and 5 grill grates to fit.

What have other people done to try and improve their unit? Just after inspiration really I'm currently looking at adding more pit temp probes and a smoke generator.

Cheers

I did a very poor job of it, but I added some brackets, cut out a couple of slots in the front and put in a sliding 2nd shelf.
