So ran the burgers tonight after being demanded to by my 6 year old daughter. It's a big boost to the ego when your kids will demolish a smoked burger but won't even touch a McDonald's hamburger.

I smoked the burgers at 150 deg for about 20 mins and then upped the temp to 230 deg at 3 mins for each side. Didn't get the colour I wanted so I had to finish it off for 30 secs or so in the fry pan. Guess I need to get the grill grate too now.

Burgers turned out well, could of done with a bit more smoke so another 5-10 mins at 150 should do the trick.

I have tried to upload some photos but I keep getting a message my quota has been reached. Any suggestions? The photos are jpgs and only about 50kb.

This is a great piece of kit.

Ribs have always been my favourite so very keen to give them a try. Any suggestions on tested profiles?

Hi Mark.

At the top of the Welcome section there is a sticky on how to post pictures from photobucket etc....you cannot post direct to the forum.

Get the Grillgrates....you won't look back!!!

Ribs....you mean Pork ribs? or Beef ribs??

Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,

Both would be great. I know there is a few in the manual, but wanted some thoughts if anyone has tried them or uses another method.

Pork Ribs are either 6 hours at 225F or 321 method. Too thin to be taking temperature.

Beef ribs are 7 hours @ 225F, I never foil them and only pepper and salt rub.

Both are really simple, I never bother with a profile.

Third cook on my GMG on Sunday for my wife's birthday. She requested ribs and followed the 3-2-1 method. A few photos from during and end of the cook. They were absolutely delicious. I love this cooker, already sold the hark as I know I will never use it again.

I just used the whole code:

I tried reducing it to just the IMG tags but that didn't work.

Code: Select all

[URL=http://s781.photobucket.com/user/mark_logan3/media/image.jpg1_zps2lturb1y.jpg.html][IMG]http://i781.photobucket.com/albums/yy97/mark_logan3/image.jpg1_zps2lturb1y.jpg[/IMG][/URL]
That's all that is available to an "outside" viewer, you should be able to get the code cleaner.

have a read of this: http://support.photobucket.com/hc/en-us ... ing-Images
