Hi all,
I have been looking for a stainless steal tray to dump my charcoal on when using the rotisserie attachment for spit roast and churasco on my stainless gasser. The other day it came to me that my BBQ has a fat drip tray that spans all the whole length of the BBQ! Perfect I said. Take it out and sit on too of the grill and away I go right?
I asked a mate that knows a little more than me about BBQs. He reckons it may not be safe to use with hot lump wood charcoal as it's a poorer grade of stainless steal.
What do you guys think?
Thanks

I'm thinking if the stainless is Kosher then there is no problem putting coals on it!

I think youll be fine.
The only problem might be that it could warp from the heat and not be a very good drip tray afterwards.
