WA Mallee Charcoal

Post by Davo »

Ok for all you over in Perth side WA, there is a new Supplier who has approached me about placing his info on this forum and he has some WA Mallee Charcoal available in 15-17 kilo bags with the average weight being 16 Kilo.
Pending popularity, he may get a permanent listing in Vendors for supply reference...that will be decided later.
In the meantime I may make this a sticky.
This will be a edited copy and paste of the info they have sent me via PM about their product.
Cheers

Davo

WA Mallee Charcoal

Everything is expensive on WA!! Charcoal is a sparse commodity over here also. This would be one of only 2 locally made I know of.
The other being Jarrah charcoal @ $2:50kg.
This is $2:80kg. If they could get the cost down closer it $2 I think WAliens will be more interested.

Our Charcoal may seem pricey but cannot be compared to Jarrah. Jarrah makes poor quality cooking charcoal and is easier to source in comparison to our Mallee charcoal. Mallee stem burns hotter and longer than Jarrah and leaves very little ash residue to clean up after use.

Mallee Stem Charcoal (our product) is widely regarded as the best in the world. Our charcoal is made by Ralph who supplied the best charcoal into Sydney restaurants for many years. WA Mallee Charcoal is made by a superior method to that used previously in NSW. All other commercial Mallee charcoal made in Australia is made in earth pits whereas ours is made above ground in steel kilns. This means that our charcoal has no ash, no sand or stones and has never had direct contact with fire. All of Which makes our Mallee Charcoal better than anything else made in Australia.

Currently our product is retailing in Perth for over $50. We will deliver direct to your door for $45.

Angryman65 Yes mate, its good, its very good. The thousands of tonnes of Mallee cooking charcoal that I made in NSW still stands as the best that was ever available and the charcoal I am making now is far superior in quality. You cannot buy better Mallee cooking charcoal.

Nath if you'd like to PM or email us we can deliver to you a free bag for you to try.

Hey Chris, do you always carry some in stock or should we contact you beforehand to order in?
10 bags is a bit much for a first try, be good to try one or two first :)

Good to see our options expand!
