No they don't and they are cheap so you can't expect great quality. I have one exactly the same as pictured earlier which I bought for the Hark Tri Fire so I could easily move it around and check the pit temp from one end to the other. And it reads the same as the hood gauge on the Hark so it appears to be reasonably accurate but I haven't put the Mav in there yet to double check, and I know that is accurate. I'm really only looking for temperature difference so whether it's measuring correctly isn't really an issue for my use. You can see it in the video instead about the Hark.
